Bill Olczak-Operations and Maintenance Director

Bill has been involved with Mystic Mountain Training Center since its conception, owning the property that Mystic Mountain sits on. He has served as Treasurer, Canoeing Director, Adult Supervisor of the Challenge Course, Advisory Council Member, and Director of Operations and Maintenance. Bill married Denise in 1974. They have two sons, Zachary and Caleb and a daughter-in-law, Marie. Bill graduated from Penn State University with a major in metallurgy and worked as a metallurgist for Erie Malleable Iron Company. Along with his wife, Denise, he is a co-owner and breeder of the Mystic Curlies, and was a home school educator for 12 years. He currently owns and operates two small businesses in Edinboro and Erie. Bill has spent endless hours designing and building all of the Mystic Mountain buildings. 

Denise Olczak-Executive Director

Denise has been involved with Mystic Mountain Training Center since its conception, owning the property that Mystic Mountain sits on. She has served as a Board Member, Advisory Council Member, Horsemanship Director, and Executive Director of the Training Center. Denise is a graduate of Mercyhurst College with a major in Environmental Education. She was the first hired naturalist at Presque Isle State Park, the first Environmental Education Specialist for Asbury Woods Nature Center, an Energy Education Specialist for the PA Department of Education, a Solar Energy Education Specialist for the Federal Department of Energy. Along with her husband, Bill she is a business owner in Edinboro & Erie and owner and breeder of Mystic Curlies, and she was a Home School educator for 12 years. Denise has a passion to teach children about the love of God through outdoor education and experiences.

Marie Olczak-Assistant Director & Event Coordinator

Marie became involved with Mystic Mountain in 2017 during the construction of our Event Center. Here is where she met her husband Caleb and got married in January of 2018.

Marie now serves as our Assistant Director and Event Coordinator. She handles the booking and registration of events, weddings, classes, and camp registration. 

She also serves as the director of the horsemanship program during our summer camp season. Marie graduated from Malone University in 2015 with a youth ministry degree, and also has spent many years as a worship leader. Her love of Jesus, adventure, the outdoors, and animals makes her a wonderful addition to MMTC.

Dave Langdon - Marketing Director

Dave became involved with Mystic Mountain in 1986 as a kid and has spent a lot of time at MMTC through the years. MMTC had such an impact, that he wants to share those experiences with everyone who crosses his path. Dave has stepped into the role of Marketing Director, managing our social media accounts, helping with fundraisers, and donations. He graduated from Penn State Behrend with an associates degree in business with a focus on marketing. Dave has also been an accomplished welder and metal fabricator for over 20 years.
